UPDATE: Three quakes, including a 3.0, strike SE Saline County

UPDATE 8:30 p.m. Tuesday: Two additional earthquakes have rattled southeastern Saline County Tuesday.

A 3.0 magnitude quake struck at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday east-southeast of Assaria, according to the Kansas Geological Survey. The quake was centered just south of E. Hedberg Road between S. Woodward Road and S. Simpson Road.

At 6:12 p.m. Tuesday, a 2.1 magnitude quake struck nearby. The quake was centered east of S. Simpson Road between E. Lapsley Road and E. Hedberg Road.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.0 magnitude quake struck at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday. It was centered northwest of the S. Niles Road/E. Hedberg Road intersection.
