A hotel manager reports to law enforcement of a residential burglary that resulted in an arrest.
According to the Salina Police Department (SPD) on Saturday evening, officers were dispatched to the Hasting Inn (217 S. Broadway) for the report of a residential burglary.
A 39-year old female manager of the hotel reported the burglary took place inside her home connected to the Hastings Inn. The victim stated a female suspect was inside the home when she was gone. Her 14-year old son was at the home when the suspect entered.
Officers came in contact with the suspect at the area of the home and arrested 40-year old, Sandra Sekela.
Sekala reportedly stole two dog leashes and a single shower curtain hook.
She was booked into the Saline County Jail for the requested charges of Aggravated Burglary, Theft and Interference with Law Enforcement.
