Rosie was born February 10, 1934, to Elmer and Annabelle (Trent) Trout in Minneapolis, KS just two doors west of where she enjoyed the last years of her life.

She was known for her love of animals of all kinds and always had more than one by her side. She was also a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan, holding season tickets for many years.

After Rosie returned to Minneapolis, she served on the Rock City Board and was a faithful member of the VFW Auxiliary, working many hours at “the hall.” She was also a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star.
