She was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Stack, of Salina, KS and her twin sister Joan Pierce, of Kansas City, MO, and former husband James W. Fisher.
As a proud graduate of the Sacred Heart High School Class of 1945, June helped plan and organize class reunions over the years. She retired after working many years in the food service industry, primarily for Salina USD 305 and Asbury Hospital.
Among her many activities and interests June enjoyed daily walking, traveling with friends and family, and singing in the RSVP Chorus (now The Silvertones). She was a member of and a volunteer for St. Mary’s Catholic Church, as well as the VFW Auxiliary, of which she was a lifetime member.
