Police are investigating a hit-and-run early Thursday that damaged multiple sections of iron fencing in an east Salina neighborhood.
Someone driving northbound in the 1300 block of S. Marymount Road in what is believed to be either a red 2000-2006 Chevrolet Suburban or red 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe left the roadway and damaged five seven-foot sections of fence and a pillar, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning.
Police were able to narrow the possible suspect vehicle pool based on vehicle parts left at the scene. Forrester said the vehicle should have damage on the front and passenger sides.
No damage estimate to the fence was available.
