Dense fog advisories have been issued for our area.
The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Monday for the following counties in our area.
Clay County
Cloud County
Dickinson County
Ottawa County
Republic County
Visibility of less than one-quarter mile in dense fog is expected. Temperatures will be below freezing through the night so freezing fog and could create some slick spots on untreated roadways, bridges, and overpasses.
The fog also will create hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a dense fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. Monday for the following counties in our area.
Jewell County
Mitchell County
Visibility as low as one-quarter mile in dense fog is expected. Fog will be somewhat patchy, but most locations should see at least brief dense fog at times through Monday morning.
The fog also will create hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
