With the addition of the Wyoming Mustangs into the CIF this season, the schedule for the Salina Liberty, along with the rest of the league, will be undergoing some changes.
Salina will play four of their first five games at home, and four of their last five on the road. They will also be the only team on the schedule who will not get a chance to play the expansion Mustangs.
The Liberty will open their 2021 season on March 27th when they play host to an out of league team from Arlington.
League play will begin for Salina with back-to-back home games against the Oklahoma Flying Aces and West Texas Warbirds.
The Liberty’s first road game will come on April 10th when Salina hits the road for a date with the Amarillo Venom.
Salina will then take two of their next three weeks off, split by another home game, this time on April 24th against the Omaha Beef.
Fresh off of their second bye week, Salina will play its second to last home game against Amarillo on May 8th, before back-to-back road trips to Sioux City and West Texas on May 15th and 22nd.
The Liberty’s final home game will come on May 29th against the Sioux City Bandits before another pair of road games at Amarillo and Wichita close out the season.
In their final two games, the Liberty and their opponents will be the only CIF teams playing on Sundays as those games will come on June 6th and 13th respectively.
Salina will face a tough road in the back half of their schedule once again as the team continues to seek their first CIF championship.
