Monday's Independence Day holiday brings with it local government closings.

City of Salina and Saline County offices and facilities will be closed Monday in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

Additionally, there will not be a Salina City Commission meeting on Monday.

City of Salina sanitation crews are scheduled to pickup trash on Monday, however, the landfill is scheduled to close at 2 p.m.

The Salina Public Library also will be closed Monday.

All offices and facilities are scheduled to resume their regular hours on Tuesday.
