Four juveniles have been arrested in connection to multiple incidents around Salina this week.

At approximately 6:25 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to a residence in the 700 block of E. Ash Street for the report of several juveniles trespassing on the roof, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. When officers arrived, the juveniles ran away.

Then, at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a burglar alarm at Juicy's Vapor Lounge, 2316 Planet Avenue. When they arrived, they found that chunks of concrete had been used to shatter the front door glass, Forrester said. Some of the chunks also hit the counter inside the business. Total damage was estimated at $600.

Surveillance video from the business showed three juveniles enter the business, grab items off the shelves, and leave. Juicy's personnel were unable to tell police what all was taken, Forrester said.

On Thursday at 3:45 a.m., officers were sent to the Central Mall, 2259 S. Ninth Street, for a report of four juveniles inside the mall. Forrester said a witness who was moving some items inside the mall stopped in the restroom and found four juveniles inside. The juveniles ran. Inside the restroom, police found two cellphones valued at $200 total that were taken from Boost Mobile, he said.

At 4:55 a.m. Thursday, officers were sent to Yogi's Vape, 1825 S. Ninth. Witnesses told police that they has seen a group of juveniles running from the business. The witnesses approached the business and saw the front door shattered, Forrester said. Damage was estimated at $500.

Surveillance video shows a person throw a brick through the front door, approach the register, and then flee the store. Nothing appeared to be taken.

At 6:07 a.m. Thursday, a witness reported seeing two males inside Willy's Vape Shop, 1120 W. Crawford, Forrester said. The males were entering and exiting through a broken four-foot by five-foot window, the witness reported. Damage to the window was estimated at $500.

Officers responded to the area and a Kansas Highway Patrol K-9 was deployed. Three juveniles were taken into custody, Forrester said. The fourth juvenile was later located near Oakdale Park.

Two 13-year-olds and two 14-year-olds were arrested in connection to the cases.

Forrester said that police are requesting aggravated burglary, theft, and damage to property charges against the boys, however the counts will vary from boy to boy depending on who allegedly did what at which location. An additional count, obstruction, also is being requested for one of the boys, he added.
