More than $34,000 worth of items stolen in northern Saline County

More than $34,000 worth of property was stolen from a farmstead in northern Saline County this past weekend.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that sometime between 4 p.m. Friday and 11:15 a.m. Saturday, someone broke a padlock on a gated property in the 5000 block of North Ohio and stole the following items.

A white 2011 GMC Sierra 2500 HD pickup (Kansas tag 445LAS) with a Herd-Boss wet/dry cattle feeder on the back, together valued at $25,000

A black and maroon eight-foot by 14-foot enclosed 2014 H&H trailer with Kansas tag 590KHF, valued at $5,000

An orange 2019 Bad Boy Magnum zero-turn mower, valued at $3,999

A key for a Polaris Ranger, valued at $50

A commercial power washer, valued at $500

Additionally, damage to a chain was estimated at $25, he said.
