Saline County law enforcement is investigating a home burglary where more than $4,500 in items were stolen.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office on July 20, deputies were dispatched to a home in northwest Saline County for a reported burglary.
A 63-year-old male stated that a detached building at his home was broken into sometime between 7:45 am and 4:15 pm that same day.
The building was secured and the door had been kicked, but not opened. The unknown suspect then broke a window and was able to enter.
Stolen from the property were several items that included: handgun, two rifles, shotgun, bb gun, pellet gun, chainsaw, air compressor, DeWalt batteries and impact driver, hammer drill, miter saw, an arctic cooler and liquor.
Total loss and damage was valued at $5,340.
There are no suspects
