Anita L. Ouellette
June 9, 1949 ~ July 6, 2024

Anita L. Ouellette was born on June 9, 1949, in Concordia, Kansas to Norman and Jean (Beauregard) LeDuc.  She passed from this life on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina, Kansas at the age of 75.

Anita graduated from Clyde High School in the class of 1967.

Anita married Larry Ouellette on Nov. 9, 1968, at the St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Clyde, KS.

Anita was best known for owning and operating the Farmer’s Café in Clay Center, Kansas.  Anita finished her working career at the local Walmart in Concordia.

Anita was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde.

Anita is survived by her children, Brent Ouellette and wife Laura, McPherson, KS: Brenda Piechocki and husband Jeff, Moundridge, KS; Brian Ouellette and wife Corina, Olathe, KS. Grandchildren include Clayton (Becky) Ouellette, Clay Center, KS, Skyler and Bronson Piechocki, Moundridge, KS and William and Joseph Ouellette, Olathe, KS, brother, Steve LeDuc, Concordia, KS.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, parents, grandparents, brother, Larry LeDuc, sister, Diane MCartney.

Private family graveside will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2024, the Mount Calvary Catholic Church, Clyde, Kansas with Fr. Joseph Kieffer officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 8 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Chaput Mortuary, Clyde.

The family suggests memorials to the Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund or O’Connor Animal Shelter.
