Clarence J. “Jerry” Henderson, 74, Bennington, died Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Salina Regional Health Center. Jerry was born June 15, 1950, in Salina to Clarence E. and Magdalena (Krone) Henderson.

Jerry and Karen R. Cherry were united in marriage on November 27, 1968, in Bennington. Jerry worked for many years as a road grater for Ottawa County.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen on March 13, 2005; and siblings, William, Alfred, Albert, Martha, and Steve.

Survivors are his daughters, Janet Beemer and husband, Richard and Teresa Clements and husband, Gary; siblings, Donald, Gloria, and Mary; granddaughter, Shelbee Fontes and husband, Matthew; and two great-granddaughters, Brynlee and Kynzlee.

Visitation will be Friday, November 22 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Wilson Family Funeral Home, 405 Argyle Ave., Minneapolis, KS 67467. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 23 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Bennington Cemetery. &nbsp;In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jerry Henderson Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
