Agenda items

Commissioners are scheduled to consider a request from community corrections to approve the spending of $30,000 in reimbursement funds to go toward the remodeling of the pre-trial program area. According to information in the commission meeting packet, the total cost of the remodel is estimated to be $82,000.

"If Community Corrections were to repay the entire cost through the monthly rental costs, it would add approximately $1,300.00 per month in addition to the total monthly rent of $11,325.00 until June of 2023 with a planned increase to $12,813.00 beginning in July of 2023. If Community Corrections is allowed to pay $30,000.00 toward the cost of the remodel now, the additional monthly rent costs would be around $800.00 per month," community corrections noted in its request to the commissioners.
