Athletic Director Ron Davis confirmed to Salina Post on Monday that Brett Rolfs has resigned as head boy's basketball coach at Ellsworth High School.
Rolfs led the Bearcats for two seasons, finishing his time in Ellsworth with a 31-14 record.
That two-year run included a 19-5 finish and a trip to the 3A state tournament in 2023-24, which saw the Bearcats fall to Wellsville in the opening round.
The search for a new head coach in Ellsworth is already underway and the school is actively interviewing applicants to fill the role.
