A 2.3 magnitude earthquake shook part of southern Saline County this morning. 

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the quake struck at 6:34 a.m. Friday and was centered just east of S. Niles Road between E. Hobbs Creek Road and E. Lapsley Road.
