An 'end of summer estate sale' by a Salina estate salesman, invites the community to make some quick cash and clean out homes, garages or sheds.
Owner of All American Estate Sales + Darren Irwin, wants the community of Salina to know about an 'end of summer estate sale' that is a first come, first serve basis with reserved slots. Irwin stated that items can be sold any price if it is an 'good condition.' Large items including functioning appliances and furniture will be accepted (if it's in good condition). Smaller items must have a resale value of $5 or more.
This estate sale will run from Thursday, August 28th - Saturday, August 30th at 1124 W. Crawford near Broadway (former NAPA Auto Parts store next to Dollar Tree across from Dillons Sunset).
According to Irwin, anyone wishing to participate can do so by calling (785) 577-3479 or by email: [email protected] to inquire or to reserve one or more slots (slots are limited).
To reserve a spot, a $30 good-faith deposit is required to secure the particpant's estate sale slot. Sellers/participants will receive 55% of total gross sale proceeds of all items, at the actual price sold. All American will retain 45% for organizing, promoting and producing the 'end of summer estate sale' for the seller/participant.
Those who are participating can expect a staff member from All American Estate Sales + to organize, price and display all items. The seller's items will be marked with a unique price tag assigned to them, to track all items that sell. Those who have details to the value of any items can be given to a staff member as well and there is no need to pre-tag individual items - a name/phone number is only required.
People participating must drop off their items by Wednesday, August 13 - Saturday, August 16 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm each day at 1124 W. Crawford.
Irwin first started All American Estate Sales + in February and has described of having much success since then.
"I have been in sales all my life and I find and learn something new every estate sale," said Irwin.
Irwin stated he is always open and willing to negotiate with sellers. He commented he is all about keeping the estate sale process 'simple, easy and relaxed.' Any leftover items that are not sold is then donated to local nonprofits/charities.
