Mary Lorene Amos, 78, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 26th, 2025.
Mary was born in Purdy, Missouri on July 22, 1946, to Mary (Stucky) and George Simmons.
On September 3, 1963, Mary married Martin Leroy Amos at the Grace Baptist Temple in Salina. They spent many happy years together before his passing in 2020.
Survivors include a son, Robert Amos; three daughters, Mary Rice (Robert), Marcia Amos, Nita Rongish (Gregg); two sisters, Jo Soldan, Ruby Kimball; and a brother, Dick Simmons (Elsie).She is also survived by grandchildren, Mary Beth (Marvin) Greenlee, Joshua Rice, Sarah Rice, Teresa Lyle, Trisha Lyle, Devin Lyle, Kuta Thompson, Jennifer Moran, Emily Carver; and great grandchildren, MaryLuna, Marissa Anderson, Ethan Anderson, James Burton, Cordelia Moran, Zora Carver, Nadia Carver, Eli Schutt, and Oliver Schutt.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Martin Amos; and siblings, Ann Soldan, Bob Simmons, and Donna Ediger.
