Police are investigating the theft of a motorized bicycle that was stolen from a residence in central Salina.
Sometime between Monday and Wednesday, someone stole a blue Diamond bicycle with an attached black engine from a side yard in the 200 block of Oakdale Drive, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning.
The owner of the bicycle told police that he found his bicycle helmet in the alley behind the residence.
The bicycle and engine were valued at $1,700.
