Robert Richard Dittman, age 96, formerly of White City, Kansas, passed away November 19, 2020 at the Herington Municipal Hospital.

He was born September 19, 1924 in Manhattan, Kansas to Ben and Pauline (Kietzman) Dittman. Bob married June&nbsp;&nbsp; on October 19, 1945.&nbsp; They had two children Karyl and Laryl.&nbsp;

Bob attended the Lutheran Church and was a member of The Eagles Lodge in Junction City. He retired from working at the Mor-Kan Grain Elevator and then helped Junior Hultgren move houses.&nbsp; He enjoyed the times he and his family spent at their cabin at Council Grove City Lake. &nbsp;He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He loved spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife June, son Laryl, and siblings Kathryn, Charles and Marguarite. He is survived by his daughter Karyl Osbourn; grandchildren: Brian, Justin and Ronnie and cousins. &nbsp;

A private graveside service will be held at the White City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Sawyer Funeral Home, Box 273, Council Grove, KS 66846.
