$680 worth of items, including pistol, stolen from vehicle in Brookville

BROOKVILLE -- Another unlocked vehicle has been burglarized.

Kaytlen Cooper, 28, of Brookville, reported that sometime between 5 p.m. on Thursday and 6:15 a.m. Friday, someone got into her unlocked vehicle and stole $680 worth of items, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning.

According to Soldan, those items included the following.

A Ruger 22 pistol, valued at $410, that was stored in the glovebox

A leather purse valued at $20

Two Vanderbilt's gift cards, valued at $90, that were in the purse

A gold wedding ring, valued at $130, that was in the purse

A flashlight, valued at $30, that was in the purse
