Hillsboro -Violet J. Baxter, 90, passed away March 25, 2021 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion. She was born July 6, 1930 rural Elyria, Kansas to Oscar and Olga (Borth) Unruh. She married Bob Baxter June 27, 1947 in Newton. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: daughter, Judy (Ed) Schrag of Hillsboro; brothers, Gene Unruh of Arizona, Tom Unruh of Aurora, Colorado; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband in 2016.
Family will have a private graveside service at Gnadenau cemetery rural Hillsboro.
