CONCORDIA -- Four Cloud County Community College volleyball players have earned postseason honors for their performances throughout the spring 2021 volleyball season.
Earning All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference honors were sophomores Geraldyn Palacios and Jaycee Burghart while Palacios, Burghart, Natasha Dooley, and Lakyn Tenbrink were all named NJCAA Plains District A selections.
Palacios was named a first-team All-KJCCC East selection and first-team Plains District A selection following a year that saw the sophomore hit a team-best .356 for the year while recording 3.11 kills per set. The attack percentage from Palacios ranked third-best among all KJCCC East Division players as part of a team-high 255 kills this season. Palacios would also lead the KJCCC East with 1.27 blocks per set while helping CCCC finish fifth in the KJCCC East Division.
