GYPSUM - A small earthquake shook part of Saline County early Tuesday morning.

The Kansas Geological Survey today reported that a 2.7 magnitude quake struck at 4:57 a.m. Tuesday southwest of Gypsum. The quake was centered just north of E. Hedberg Road between S. Whitmore Road and S. Niles Road.
