The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a red flag warning in effect until 9 p.m. for the following counties in our area.
Jewell County
Mitchell County
Southwest winds at 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and relative humidity near 20 percent are forecast.
Any fires that ignite may spread rapidly and exhibit extreme fire behavior. Use extreme caution if engaging in activities that could lead to fire ignition.
