Have you thought it might be fun to be a part of the upcoming Salina Crossroads Marathon, but just don't think you can run that far? Consider participating in the 4.01K Family Fun Run/Walk that is a part of the marathon events.

The deadline to enter the drawing is 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
The 4.01K Family Fun Run/Walk, sponsored by BeWealth, provides a fun twist from traditional 5K and 2.5-mile races. The 4.01K race will loop back early and finish back south on Santa Fe, according to information provided by Daniel Craig, one of the marathon organizers.
The Salina Crossroads Marathon, Half Marathon, 4.01K Family Fun Run/Walk, and Team Relays will be held on Nov. 5. The Salina Crossroads Marathon is the first USATF Certified and Boston Qualifying Marathon ever held in Salina.
According to information on the marathon's Facebook page, 600 runners from 30 different states have already registered for the marathon. That includes 113 runners from outside of Kansas and 233 runners from Salina.
