ELLSWORTH COUNTY—A Salina woman was injured in an accident just before 2:3o p.m. Wednesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Nissan Murano driven by Madison Libby Granddclair, 19, Salina, was westbound on Kansas Highway 4 one mile west of Kansas 141.
The driver was distracted. The vehicle traveled towards the right and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle crossed both lanes of traffic, traveled into the south ditch and back down to the westbound lane.
EMS transported Granddclair to the hospital in Lindsborg. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
