Lisa Joy Voeltz, age 64, left this earth to enter her eternal rest on November 20, 2024 while home in Abilene, Kansas.
She was born to Ernald and Sally Voeltz on November 24, 1959, the youngest of three children. Lisa is survived by her sister, Christal of Lebanon, Missouri, nephews Dustin Voeltz, Lincoln, Jordan Voeltz, Ellsworth, nieces Betsy Fadness, Lebanon, Mallory Bailey, Los Angeles, and several great nephews and nieces.
During her lifetime she had companionship and love for 3 fur babies which she called her kids. Each one in turn received much love and attention.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Russell Voeltz, Lincoln.
She graduated from Ellsworth High School. Lisa went to college pursuing a career in medical laboratory technology. After receiving her degree and accreditation, Lisa was employed in several hospitals and clinics over the years.
Hobbies and enjoyable activities for Lisa included gardening, counted cross stitch embroidery, antiquing, playing cards and reading. Lisa will be missed by her family and church, Trinity Lutheran Church of Salina, Kansas.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity in Salina on Saturday, August 23,2025 at 2pm.
