On Tuesday, the Southeast of Saline softball team continued its dominance over the NCAA in another league sweep, this time of the Ellsworth Bearcats on the road.
These wins officially secure another league softball title for the Lady Trojans, who sit three games ahead of both Beloit and Minneapolis with just two games to go.

Game 1: SE of Saline 10, Ellsworth 0
The first game of this set was another Karlee Zurfluh masterpiece, as the Junior tossed another complete game shutout, surrendering just two hits and a walk while striking out five.
The Lady Trojans rattled off ten runs on ten hits, plating three runs in the second, another in the third, two in the fourth, and four in the fifth to take this game in run-rule fashion.
All nine spots in the Southeast lineup produced at least one hit, while six spots drove in at least one run. In the field, it was another spotless performance without a single error in the book.
Game 2: SE of Saline 18, Ellsworth 5
While the run count in game one stayed fairly reasonable, the Lady Trojan lineup exploded in game two, plating 18 runs on 11 hits while allowing just five on the other side.
Oddly enough, all 11 of those hits came from the bottom 2/3 of the lineup, with Karlee Zurfluh leading the charge from the 9-hole with three hits and three RBI.
All told, the Lady Trojans scratched across four runs in the first, five in the second, four more in the fourth and five more in the fifth.
Hannah Thiel collected another win in the circle, tossing five innings and allowing four earned runs on eight hits, walking two and striking out six.
Reese Heinrich swiped four bags in the doubleheader, including the 100th stolen base of her career in just her sophomore year.
With this sweep, SES improves to 19-1 and is now on a 16-game winning streak while Ellsworth slides to 9-9.
The Trojans are back in action on Thursday to wrap up their regular season against the Lyons Lions.
