Dale L. Wick
July 27, 1950 ~ December 2, 2023
On December 02, 2023, Dale L. Wick left this earth to be with Jesus. Dale was born, July 27, 1950 to Harold and Marie Kugler Wick in Abilene, Kansas and graduated from Chapman High School.
Dale held several jobs with local farmers, Flynn Nursery, Green Ford of Abilene and Snuffy's restaurant as a cook. You knew when Dale was cooking. He was fast and efficient. He was loved by many of Snuffy's customers. Dale spent most of his years in the rural Abilene area on Jeep Road. He eventually moved to Abilene for several years and for a short period of time back to Jeep Road until he went to the Village Manor care facility in Abilene where he spent the rest of his days. He became quite the social butterfly while there. You could always find him playing cards with many others or putting puzzles together.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Helen (Wick) Stevens and one brother, Carl Eugene. Dale has one surviving brother, James Wick.
He was always joking with most anyone from relatives to friends. He loved to garden and cook.
Dale is to be cremated and his remains will be buried at the Union/Livingston Cemetery. Graveside services will be announced at a later date.
