Salina League of Women Voters
Voters will have an opportunity to hear from candidates on the primary ballot at a forum sponsored by the Salina League of Women Voters (LWV) on Sunday, July 12, at 2 p.m. at Salina Tech, Building J, 2605 Berschel Ave.
Local, state and federal candidates with an opponent in the Aug. 4 primary election have been invited to attend, according to organizers. Responses thus far have been received from candidates for the U.S. Senate and District 1 House of Representatives as well as state and Saline County offices.
Salina LWV members will moderate the forum with members of the media asking questions. Audience members also will be able to ask questions. Check the Salina LWV Facebook page for candidate participation updates.
