Agenda items
Commissioners are scheduled to consider a request to accept and sign a contract between the county and the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) for a High Risk Rural Road (HRRR) project east of Salina. If approved, the project would take place on South Simpson Road between East Magnolia Road and East Crawford, according to commission meeting packet information.
The project would include adding shoulders along the roadway and regrading the ditch slopes to make them more flat. Additionally, all drainage structures would be extended or replaced.
Commissioners also are scheduled to hear from Jason Tiller, health department director, concerning the local coronavirus situation and whether to let the county's mask mandate stand for another two weeks.
