Three Salina cross country runners competed at the highest level at the state Class 5A Cross Country Championships held in Augusta on Halloween morning.

William Griffith completed an outstanding season by placing 24th in his first State meet with a time of 16:58.

Fellow Mustang Isaac French finished in 17:28 to place 53rd.

Grace Allen represented Salina South in the girls race, crossing the finish line in 20:49 for 36th position.
All three runners are juniors.
