More unlocked vehicles fell victim to a burglar, this time in west Salina Tuesday night.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning that sometime between 5:45-10:30 p.m. Tuesday, someone entered three vehicles parked in a driveway in the 1600 block of Redwood Drive.
Jeremy Alvord, 44, of Salina, told police that his Chevrolet Silverado pickup was the only vehicle that had something missing, Forrester explained. A Ruger LC95 9mm handgun, valued at $350, was taken, he noted. According to Forrester, Alvord's other vehicle and his girlfriend's vehicle had been gone through, but nothing was taken.
The vehicles were unlocked and no damage was done to them, Forrester added.
