January 16, 1936 ~ February 14, 2021 (age 85)

Salina - Norma Berg, 85 passed away peacefully surrounded by family Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born January 16, 1936.  She will be remembered for being so friendly and love for her dog.  She grew up on a farm near Marquette.  Later she ventured to California to live with sister Marilyn after high school.  She then returned to Salina to marry Ernest (Bud) Berg.  They loved to dance, play cards and travel, enjoying 9 cruises.  Norma worked in retail for many years including Walgreens, JCPenney, and Kline's Department Store.  She loved working with the public.  Norma enjoyed water walking at the Y and volunteering at the Salina Community Theatre and Smoky Hill River Festival.

Survivors include daughter, Susan and son, Stacy; sister Vonnie Campbell of Manhattan and many cousins, nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Ernest of 53 years; one brother and three sisters, and parents Myrtle and Preston Griggs.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2021 at Ryan Mortuary.  Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
