OTTAWA COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Tuesday in Ottawa County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Honda HR-V driven by Khiet Thanh Le, 36, Lincoln, Nebraska, was southbound on US 81 Highway one half mile south of Rifle Road.
The SUV entered the median, traveled for an extended period in the grass before the driver overcorrected. The Honda landed and started to turn to the left, went sideways and rolled.
EMS transported Le and a passenger Thi N. A. Pham, 31, Lincoln, Nebraska, to Salina Regional Health Center. Both were wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
