10-time defending state champion Sacred Heart golf team opens 2026 season with tournament win

The Sacred Heart golf team picked up right where they left off last spring, winning the first meet of 2026 after claiming a tenth-straight 2A title in 2025.

The Knights finished the tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course with a team score of 312, 14 points clear of Hutch Trinity in second.

Will Tuttle led the way for Sacred Heart, finishing second with a score of 75 and headlining a day where five different Knights finished inside the top 15.

Sacred Heart will be back in action at the McPherson Invitational this Friday at Turkey Creek.
