McPherson County reports 1 new case of COVID-19, updates stats

MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department today reported a new confirmed COVID-19 case, bringing the county total to 195.

The newest confirmed case, according to the health department, is a symptomatic male in his 50s with unknown exposure at this time who is hospitalized.

Following is updated case data from the health department.

●Asymptomatic cases: 20

●Cases with unknown exposure: 74

●Cases 60 years old and above: 43

●Cases 50-59 years old: 26

●Cases 40-49 years old: 25

●Cases 30-39 years old: 27

●Cases 18-29 years old: 57

●Cases under 18 years old: 17

●Female cases: 109

●Male cases: 86

●Hospitalized cases (may not represent current hospitalizations): 13

●Ventilated cases (may not represent current ventilated cases): 4

●Deaths: 1

Additionally, of the 195 confirmed cases, 176 have met Kansas Department of Health and Environment recovery guidelines, the health department noted.
