DICKINSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating an alleged school threat in Dickinson County.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of an altercation that occurred between students at Solomon School in the 400 Block of Pine Street in Solomon, according to a social media report from the Dickinson County Sheriff's office. Since then, the Sheriff’s Office was made aware of possible threats of violence to occur at the school on Wednesday.
An investigation was conducted Tuesday evening. There will be a law enforcement presence in the area Wednesday as the investigation into the altercation continues.
The Sheriff’s Office does not believe there is a threat to the safety of the students, staff, or community in Solomon as the information and evidence obtained does not support that a school threat was made
