The Bennington Bulldogs (3-5), will open postseason play on the road this Thursday when they travel to Hoxie (7-1).
This will be the first all-time meeting between the two sides.
“We have a great amount of gratitude for where we are compared to last year,” Bulldog head coach Bryan Shamburg said. "At this point last year our season was over at 0-8. This year we're 3-5, and while that's far from perfect, we have a chance to extend our season with a win over Hoxie."
The winner of this matchup will advance to the round of 16 in this year's 8-Man DI playoff to take on either LaCrosse (5-3) or Sublette (5-3).
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 on Thursday at Hoxie High School.
