First Bank Kansas has been recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Banks 2021, ranking number one in Kansas and the top-scoring bank overall in America.
Forbes presents this distinguished award based on data produced in collaboration with the market research firm Statista.
Nationwide banks like Bank of America, Wells Fargo or Chase Bank, which have branches in at least 15 states, were excluded from the ranking. Out of the 4,978 FDIC-insured banks remaining in America, only 2.7 percent of those met the eligibility criteria for the 2021 “Best-In-State” Forbes list. Financial institutions were scored on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five subdimensions (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice).
“The team at First Bank Kansas and Advantage Trust Company is honored and humbled to be named the number one bank in Kansas and the top-scoring bank overall in America on the prestigious Forbes Best-In-State Bank list,” said Kent Buer, President and CEO of First Bank Kansas. “Our team members embrace our culture and understand what it means to be ideal team players…to continually strive to deliver exceptional experiences to our customers and to each other.
