Margaret Elizabeth Downs, 94, of Salina, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born January 24, 1926 in Clay County, Kansas to Curtis and Lessie (Klein) Burk.
On November 3, 1946, Margaret married Jesse V. Downs in Wichita, Kansas They were married and inseparable for 74 years.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse V. Downs, her children, Cheryl Utech (James), of Manhattan, Steve Downs (Rosalie), of Colorado Springs, Greg Downs (Eileen), of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kimberly Splawn (Robert), Melissa Kendall (Jeremy), Jesse Downs (Dana), David Green (Kathleen); and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister Geneva Anderson.
The family will have a private graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Park.
