MANHATTAN, Kan. – One of the nation’s largest and most passionate student sections will be in full force this season as K-State Student Combo passes are sold out for the 2023-24 football and men’s basketball seasons, athletics officials announced.
A limited number of football-only passes remain for K-State students to purchase at www.kstatesports.com/students. Students interested in reserved general public season tickets for either football or men’s basketball can contact the K-State Ticket Office by calling 1-800-221-CATS.
“Our students have always played an integral part in our teams’ success, especially in football and men’s basketball where we have prioritized their seating location,” Athletics Director Gene Taylorsaid. “Excitement is at an extremely high level as we enter the 2023-24 season and we are looking forward to tremendous crowds and environments beginning in the fall with football, volleyball and soccer.”
Student seating is first-come, first-served general admission, and possession of a student pass does not guarantee entry to every game. Students should arrive early to ensure a spot in the student section. Gates open two hours prior to kickoff for each home football game.
Student passes offer a considerable discount over public season tickets with an average ticket value for both sports at $2,570. All other K-State sporting events are free for K-State students with their Wildcat ID – including soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, and baseball.
K-State Athletics is the only athletics program in the state of Kansas and one of only a few in the country to operate with no direct or indirect university and student funding or state support. The department also supports the K-State Marching Band with an annual payment of $200,000 plus additional operational expenses totaling more than $1 million last season, while it contributed more than $6.8 million this past year in total payments to the University base budget for tuition and fees and annual institutional support fees.
Students who have ordered their passes will receive their ticket for the football home opener in the K-State Sports app later this week. For more information regarding student tickets, contact the K-State Ticket Office at 1-800-221-CATS or email [email protected].
