The Salina Police Department arrested 28-year-old Salina resident Thomas Garrison after his significant other reported him for sexual violence.
At 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, SPD officers reported to the 300 block of North Columbia Street, Garrison's residence, where the sexual assault took place.
According to SPD Sergeant Kyle Tonniges, the significant other reported the assault after she left Garrison's residence.
"As a result of what happened there, we arrested Thomas for rape, aggravated assault, criminal sodomy, aggravated kidnapping, domestic battery and violating a protective order," Tonniges said.
Garrison did not resist arrest by officers.
