Salina Country Club
Things are really getting cooking at Salina Country Club, with the rollout of a new pastry program open to the general public.
Club Chef Tim Bailey’s baked goods are now available for online order and pickup for anyone regardless of club membership status. That means anyone can get a taste of the club’s delicious rolls, infamously good brownies, lemon bars, pecan bread, ice creams and even made-to-order pies. Rolls and brownies are sold by the dozen, and pecan bread loaves and pies are sold whole.
“We’re thrilled to be able to open up this new program and provide all Salina residents with an opportunity to enjoy these delicious pastries and baked goods,” said Jason Ingermanson, founder and CEO of JRI Hospitality, which owns Salina Country Club. “Chef Tim’s recipes are widely known around the area for being delicious and perfectly prepared, and it’s exciting to be able to offer them to everyone in the community.”
Orders may be placed through the club’s website at www.salinacountryclub.com. A 72-hour advance notice is required for all orders. Wednesday orders will need to be placed the preceding Sunday.
Additionally, on March 26, Salina Country Club will offer assorted pastry boxes for a suggested donation of $5 with all funds to be donated to the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank. Anyone will be able to drive up to the club between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. to participate. These boxes will already be created with an assortment of pastries including a lemon bar, brownie and three cookies (Chocolate Chip, Lemon, and Oatmeal Craisin White Chocolate). Patrons can pick them up from the front drive of the club’s upper parking lot.
“We are so honored to be partnered with the Salina Country Club for this promotion,” said Karen Couch, executive director of the Salina Emergency Aid Food Bank. “We LOVE food, but especially love it when our partners raise awareness and support for hunger relief in our community.”
