ELLSWORTH COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 7:30a.m. Wednesday in Ellsworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Hino trailer driven by Widnor Louis, 40, Grandview, Missouri, was northbound on 60th Road just north of Bison Road approximately three miles north of Interstate 70. The passenger side tire went off the road. The driver overcorrected, crossed the center line and the vehicle entered the west ditch. The driver overcorrected again and the vehicle rolled onto the drivers side.
EMS transported Louis and a passenger Eric B. Brown, 37, Kansas City, Missouri to Salina Regional Medical Center . The driver was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
