Small quake strikes SW of Gypsum Tuesday morning

GYPSUM - A small earthquake shook part of southeastern Saline County this morning.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, the 2.2 magnitude earthquake struck at 9:42 a.m. Tuesday southwest of Gypsum. It was centered west of S. Whitmore Road between E. Lapsley Road and E. Hedberg Road.
