Tuttle's big night pushes Knights past Teutons

The Sacred Heart boy's basketball team returned home to host Inman in the opening round of Sub state, with the Knights defeating the Teutons 58-43. 

Sacred Heart found themselves locked in a defensive battle down 3 after the first quarter. 

The Knights would answer in the second quarter, with Will Tuttle scoring 15 points after two quarters.

The Knights went into intermission leading 26-17. 

In the second half it was all Sacred Heart, offensively they moved the ball well and put it into the hands of Will Tuttle and Dominic Matteucci.

Tuttle would knock down four three-pointers, and the Knights would extend their lead 42-32. 

The Teutons were led in scoring by a freshman Kru Harris (20), and Malachi Brunk (13). 

Sacred Heart was led by a furious career-high night from Will Tuttle, who scored 37 points, shooting nine big ones in the game, and Dominic Matteuci, who finished his evening with 8. 

The 2 seed Knights will host the 7 seed Bennington Bulldogs on Tuesday. Tip-off is set for 7 PM.
