
MANHATTAN – K-State and Oklahoma State have agreed to move their previously scheduled soccer match on Nov. 6, to Saturday night at 7 p.m., at Buser Family Park.
Due to limited roster numbers due to positive COVID-19 tests and quarantine protocols for Texas Tech and Oklahoma, the Wildcats and Cowgirls received confirmation from the Big 12 Conference to adjust their match to the opening weekend of the season.
Fans are reminded of new protocols which will be implemented to provide the safest environment possible under guidelines pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Seating
Seating capacity in Buser Family Park will be limited to 25 percent. Fans are instructed to sit general admission-style and socially distanced from other pods of fans.
Face Coverings
In accordance with City of Manhattan ordinance and Kansas State University policy, fans must wear face coverings over their mouths and noses in order to enter Buser Family Park and continue wearing them inside the stadium. Fans with a medical condition, mental health condition, deaf or hard of hearing or have a disability that prevents them from wearing a face covering will be required to wear a face shield as a reasonable modification. Children 5 and under are not required to wear a face covering. Fans should provide their own face coverings; K-State will not provide face coverings.
Ticketing
Only single-match tickets will be available for the 2020 season. Fans may begin purchasing tickets at 8:30 a.m., the day prior to each home match through kstatesports.com/tickets or on a gameday walk-up basis at the Buser Family Park ticket booth. Due to capacity limitations and to avoid lines at the ticket windows, fans are encouraged to order digital tickets in advance. Debit/credit transactions are highly encouraged.
Admission
Fans are encouraged to arrive early. Gates open 60 minutes prior to the match. To avoid handling each person’s bag and expedite entry into the stadium, will be asked to hold up their clear bag for inspection and remove any bulky items.
Parking
Free parking is available in the west lot of Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Due to construction on Kimball and College avenues, access into the lot is available only through Gate 5 off Kimball or Gate 1 driving northbound on College. Also, sidewalks are under construction on the east side of College. Fans are encouraged to use the crosswalks and walk to the stadium on the west side of College. Please reference the attached map.
Concessions
Concessions are located on the concourse of Tointon Family Stadium. Concession stands will close after halftime.
Merchandise
A new K-State Super Store location will be open on the concourse of Tointon Family Stadium. this season. All transactions will be by debit or credit. The store will close after halftime.
Saturday's match will be broadcast on Big 12 Now on ESPN+. The match will also be available on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and for free at kstatesports.com.
