Get ready to kick off the holiday season with the 14th Annual Frosty Fun Runs on Saturday, November 23. Hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina, this festive event combines family fun and fitness to support youth mentoring programs in the local community.

The Frosty Fun Runs feature something for everyone, with a variety of races, including the Frosty 5 Mile Run, Frosty 5K Run/Walk, Merry Mile, and the Kid’s Santa Sprint. Each event aims to raise vital funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina, an organization that provides one-on-one mentoring relationships for children facing adversity, helping them reach their full potential.

The event will kick off at 9:00 a.m. at the City Lights Stage on Santa Fe Avenue and Ash Street. 99KG's Shane McClintock will help start the festivities, and the Kid’s Santa Sprint will follow around 10:00 a.m. Participants can register and find more details at www.bbbssalina.org/frosty.

The Frosty Fun Runs are made possible through the support of sponsors including 99KG, Bennington State Bank, Mahaska, McDonald’s, Salina Regional Health Center, Schwan’s Company, Bank of the Plains, and many more.

Join the Salina community in celebrating the season of giving while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children. All proceeds from the event go toward supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina’s impactful mentoring programs.

For more than 50 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Salina has helped children between the ages of 5 and 17 build confidence, improve social skills, and achieve academic success through supportive relationships with adult mentors. The organization works with local schools, businesses, volunteers, and families to create lasting positive effects in the lives of young people in Saline County.

Mark your calendars for November 23, and be part of the Frosty Fun Runs to help support Salina's youth.
